The Shining Star with a Purpose

As a renowned supermodel and actress for almost four decades, Angie Everhart knows about beauty! Despite being conscious of her weight and appearance, she always felt that wellness was an equal priority. That emphasis was exacerbated several years ago when she survived thyroid cancer. She co-founded DIYA Beauty & Wellness with industry veteran Renee Niles to focus on health and wellness products. DIYA Beauty & Wellness recently acquired several key brands from WR Group, including Oralgen NuPearl, BareOrganics, PROBIOGEN, and the North American licensing rights for FOLIGAIN.

Angie began modeling when she was 17 and was almost immediately sent to Paris, where she lived and thrived as a person and a young supermodel. As a young woman alone in a foreign country, she gained independence, self-assurance, and strength before women had much power. She then achieved accolades as a talented movie star and spokesperson for essential world issues. All these experiences have served her well in taking on her next role, from Supermodel to Movie Star to Beauty & Wellness CEO. She is the shining star of the message of believing in yourself, motivation, tenacity, and determination being key, along with hard work as the engine for whatever journey anyone wants to take. And one thing she learned along the way is never to accept NO as an answer. Keep at it, as passion and persistence are a winning combination. Armed with this determination, Angie started working towards building her company and acquiring new brands to make it into a wellness sanctuary.

Angie's personal connection with Oralgen, one of the brands Diya acquired, began when she became its spokesperson. She was not only impressed by the teeth whitening solution's effectiveness but also by its natural formula using vegan ingredients and being 100% peroxide free. This personal connection led her to Renee Barch Niles, a longtime executive of the company, whom she admired for her experience, knowledge, and expertise. This admiration foresaw a long-term professional relationship with Renee, further solidifying Angie's commitment to the products she acquires.

As an entrepreneur, Angie had been working for a few years on a beauty line since her trademark has always been her long, magnificent red mane that, over the years, led her to be the face of virtually every prominent hairline in the US and Europe. She expressed her interest in getting into the beauty and wellness business to Renee. Hence, when brands became available for sale, she notified Angie, and they partnered to form Diya and purchase the established brands Oralgen, BareOrganics Superfoods, ProBiogen Spore Probiotics, and SuperOrganics Superfoods. Because of her "celebrity," Angie is energizing the company in the media and with distributors and retailers.

The pioneering leader is a unique corporate executive who thrives on interactive communication. She knows what she knows and admittedly has received the equivalent of a doctorate in corporate affairs, welcoming input and advice from experts in their respective fields. She brings leadership, energy, positivity, and a passion for wellness, quality, and affordability. She also feels strongly about giving back and is starting a program to donate a portion of the profits from each product to a farmer or non-profit that supports organic products and sustainability in the region from which that product's ingredients are sourced.

Angie also believes we must empower future generations of entrepreneurs with dreams of making a difference in the world. Diya will also seek to support small businesses with ideas that can help make a positive impact.

In fact, they welcome product suggestions, recipes to share, and personal experiences. This helps them improve existing products, research, and expand the line to satisfy customers' needs.
