Charlotte has inspired and empowered team members to become great leaders of tomorrow. Her motto is always preparation. “Prepare, prepare, and then prepare some more. If you are prepared, chances are you will succeed. But it takes time and effort, there’s no way around that,” she explains. “I always have an eye out for opportunities for others and encourage those around me to take them”.

Originally from Vancouver Island, Charlotte obtained her undergraduate degree in criminology and psychology from Vancouver Island University. Following graduation from VIU, Charlotte worked as an adult probation officer in the Kootenays before attending law school. Since joining Bilkey Law in 2012, Charlotte has enjoyed a diverse insurance litigation practice and has appeared in both provincial and supreme court for insurance-related matters involving coverage, construction disputes/deficiencies, property, and bodily injury claims, as well as subrogation. Charlotte also has a niche practice in equine law.
