Helen Lao is the Founder & President at ClearPath Solutions, a boutique executive search firm specializing in the restaurant growth industry. She leads a dynamic team across the U.S. that matches consumer growth brands with top leaders within the industry.
In 2010, Helen was managing a young family while on a progressive career path in Human Resources. Like many women, she felt the pull to stay home at the expense of her career. She was convinced that women did not have to choose between one or the other.

“Helen always felt “an entrepreneurial calling” and was inspired by stories of great success in the face of failure. She knew she could spend the next 25 years continuing a successful HR career or take the big chance as a business owner.
She launched ClearPath in 2010 with a vision, zero clients, a phone line.
Her team built their business one client at a time. Today, ClearPath’s focused strategy has made them one of the most trusted executive search firms in the industry.
Helen is driven to provide ongoing opportunities for her team, allowing them to explore what they are capable of, while positively impacting the world of search – one match at a time.
