“Get outside the walls of IT and turn Information Technology into a Value Center for your Company”

DPI Specialty Foods has established a network of wholesale distribution centers in key geographical locations across the Western United States, assuring a well-managed supply chain and maximizing speed to market. DPI has built a passion for food, and offers over 40,000 perishable and non-perishable food items from regional, national, and worldwide suppliers. DPI‘s mission is dedicated to driving sustainable long-term growth for its customers through a unique combination of a broad range of specialty foods combined with a highly focused service model that best meets the customer’s needs. DPI is dedicated to "Bringing the Best to Market."

Nadia Rosseels holds a Master degree in Business Economics and in Information Technology. Nadia started her career as a Financial Analyst in Belgium. Shortly after she joined an IT Consulting firm which kick-started her career in Information Technology. In 1999 Nadia moved together with her husband to California where she continued working as an IT Consultant with the “Big 4” IT Consulting firms for 15 years. In 2012, a few years after becoming a mother, Nadia joined DPI Specialty Foods to supplement DPI's internal IT team. Nadia’s career took a significant change at this point. She rose to the position of IT Director by forging strong bonds with business counterparts across all functional areas. Nadia was promoted to VP of Information Technology in 2016 and to CIO in 2018.

Nadia Rosseels, as CIO, works closely with Business Leaders to identify and prioritize significant business initiatives that connect with the company's vision and strategy. She promotes the same mindset within her team, encouraging them to get outside of the walls of IT and partner up with their business counterparts in order to understand the business processes and provide the best technology solutions.

DPI's IT Department has evolved over the years into so much more than a provider of internal services. Nadia and her team have become essential to DPI's long-term growth and success. DPI’s Information Technology is more and more recognized as a value center as opposed to a cost center, worthy of continued investment. The correct investment in information technology, whether it's people, systems, or software, has been shown to improve the company's financials. DPI's IT Department, led by Nadia Rosseels, is developing Business Intelligence Analytics (BI), and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions. Increased operational efficiencies, better and faster decision making, and quicker action on time-sensitive activities will all benefit from faster data analytics, intuitive dashboards, and process automation, all with the purpose of better servicing DPI’s customers.

Mrs. Rosseels says, “Make sure to get outside the walls of IT and understand the business processes. Only when fully understanding how the business is operating, IT can provide the best technology solutions leading to the company’s long term success. Turn Information Technology into a Value Center for your company!”

Nadia's innovative thinking, capacity to comprehend any crucial scenario, and ability to develop solutions, as well as her passion, makes her a Tech trendy Woman Leader. IEWL
