North Florida Hauling is a transportation company that primarily specializes in the transportation of bulk cement. NFH employs a business model that involves the utilization of owner operators, who possess their own cabs and NFH supplies the necessary cement tanks for transporation purposes. Jose "Pepe" Cancio founded North Florida Hauling, and today Patricia C. Bernardini, his daughter, serves as the organization's executive vice president.

Patricia was born in Miami to Cuban born parents. At the tender age of three, she moved to Brazil with her family and remained there until she was 15 years old. Her family relocated to Arizona, where she completed secondary school at Arizona State University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration after Graduating Magna Cum Laude. After college, she and her family relocated to Miami. Patricia met her husband of 32 years, Tony, with whom she shares responsibility for their four children, Catalina, Tomas, Lucas, and Matias. Catalina is married to Diego, with whom she has a son named Diego Julian, also known as DJ.

The Dutch shipping company Nedlloyd Lines hired Patricia for her first professional role after college. She then launched a customs brokerage firm after receiving her customs broker license. Later, she assumed the position of controller at C&C Concrete Pumping, Inc., where she collaborated with her brother. She also established two enterprises, namely Six Ladies Concrete Services and Concrete Repair Solutions. Her license as a general contractor was successfully obtained, and she currently engages in part-time employment with AGM Financial Services, where they facilitate loan transactions for acquaintances and relatives.

Patricia derives pleasure from engaging in the sport of tennis, exploring other destinations through travel, and acquiring proficiency in multiple languages. Specifically, she exhibits fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and French. She is a breast cancer survivor as well as a mental health survivor. Patricia has a fervent dedication to disseminating her personal experiences in the realm of health to a wider audience.

In addition to Food for the Poor, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, St. Katherine Drexel, and other charities, Patricia actively supports a number of causes. She eagerly anticipates joining the Rotary Club of Weston, an organization that upholds the philosophy of "service above self."

NFH endeavors to exceed the expectations of their clientele and is a family-owned and operated enterprise that employs several members of the Cancio family. Owner-operators are regarded with a familial approach, and their objective is to establish a mutually advantageous relationship. Their guiding principle is to adhere to the golden rule of reciprocity, which advocates treating others in the same manner that they desire to be treated.
